About OCR accuracy

Recognition quality depends on image resolution, focus, contrast, layout, and the selected language. Clear, straight, high-resolution text usually produces better results. Always review the extracted text before using it.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Image decoding and OCR recognition run in your browser on your device. The application does not send your image files to Baiming Service. The OCR engine and language data are separate downloads.

Which image formats are supported?

JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP images are supported. PDF and HEIC files are not supported in this version.

Can I process several images at once?

Yes. Add multiple images and process them in sequence. You can add more while processing. The tool uses a single OCR worker to keep resource use controlled.

Can I edit the extracted text?

Yes. Select an image in the queue and edit its text in the result box. Your edits are used when you copy or download all results.

Does the tool support languages other than English?

Choose an available OCR language from the language menu. The required language data is downloaded only when needed. Not every language or writing system is supported.
